Every Sunday
during the 10:00AM Family Mass at St. Margaret Church the children are led
downstairs to hear the Gospel reading in a more simplified version.
The leaders use a
program which teaches the children about Jesus and
helps them understand the day's Gospel. Sometimes a felt board is used to re-tell the
Gospel or the Gospel is re-enacted using the children. Songs are usually sung.
The children
always receive a leaflet with the day's Gospel reading,
which they are encouraged to color. Their work is displayed in the hallway.
There is no fee
for this program and no advance notice required. Children
range from age 4 on up. Confirmation
students often help the adult leaders.
If you would like
more information about the program or feel you would like to become a
leader, please contact John & Madelyn Curtis 732-449-0059
